UVC disinfection unit for Wall mounting for the disinfection of tools or set of instruments

In this wall mounting unit, cleaned tools and set of instruments can be stored under sterile conditions over a long period of time. A UVC -impermeable polycarbonate pane inserted in the door of the unit made of stainless steel guarantees a reliable shield against the generated UVC radiation. This type of radiation has a strong germicidal effect. As soon as the door is opened, a corresponding locking mechanism switches off the two UVC lamps. 

One UVC lamp each is installed in the upper and in the lower part of the UV BOX; both lamps emit ultraviolet light (UVC light) with a wavelength of 254 nm. This UVC radiation prevents cell division and reproduction of microorganisms such as bacteria, spore s, mildews and viruses. The germ content is reduced significantly and permanently.

 

The housing is entirely made of stainless steel. An electronic ballast for operating the UVC lamps is located inside the case. The user is free to select exposure times from 1 second to 600 minutes by setting the integrated timer. The UV BOX can be equipped with various object holders, depending on the intended application.
